Demi, Miley & Shania albums heading for big debuts on “Billboard” 200 chart

Island/Safehouse/Hollywood RecordsOne legendary diva and two pop princesses are set to take over the Billboard 200 album chart next week, according to the magazine.

Now, Shania Twain‘s first new studio album in nearly 15 years, is heading for a #1 debut, with sales of more than 120,000 units.  Her last album, Up, debuted at #1 back in 2002 with whopping first-week sales of 874,000 copies, according to Nielsen Music.  Since then, she’s released two albums: a 2004 greatest hits set and a 2015 live album.

Meanwhile, Demi Lovato‘s new album, Tell Me You Love Me, could debut at #2 with first-week sales of 70,000 units.  This would be Demi’s sixth consecutive top-10 album.  Her last one, Confident, peaked at #2 in 2015.  The album sales are being spurred by Demi’s first top-10 hit in four years, “Sorry Not Sorry.”

Finally, Miley Cyrus‘ new album, Younger Now, may come in at #3.  It would be Miley’s 11th top-10 album.  Younger Now is Miley’s first “regular” album since 2013’s Bangerz. She also put out the album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz in 2015, but that was given away for free via Soundcloud.
