PRNewsFoto/BARKSia‘s a huge dog lover, and since October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, she’s raising money to help dogs in need of extra care.
Sia has teamed with BARK, the company behind BarkBox, to design a limited-edition dog toy called Sia’s Lickalike. It’s a stuffed cartoon dog wearing one of Sia’s signature black-and-white bob wigs. It costs 15 dollars, and all profits will go to Animal Haven, a New York animal shelter. Specifically, the money will go to the shelter’s Recovery Road fund, which helps animals at the shelter who need extra medical care.
Even before Sia was famous, she volunteered at Animal Haven, and has performed at fundraising events. In a statement, she says, “I’m excited to have collaborated with BARK to help raise money for Animal Haven and bring further awareness to Adopt a Shelter Dog Month.”
