Meeno PeluceNiall Horan has cancelled his Mexico City tour date scheduled for Tuesday night, as the city deals with the aftermath of a deadly 7.1 magnitude earthquake.
He made the announcement on Twitter, writing, “Unfortunately, due to the recent tragic events in Mexico City I have had to cancel my upcoming show.”
He adds, “I’m grateful for the overwhelming support from fans in Mexico. This difficult decision was made out of great affection and concern for the safety of my fans.”
Niall promises to come back to the city soon and ends his message by encouraging fans to donate to the Red Cross.
Last week, Shawn Mendes also cancelled his Mexico City concert in the wake of the disaster.
