NABILZayn Malik scored a hit by duetting with Taylor Swift. Now he’s announced that his new single is yet another collaboration with a powerhouse female pop star: Sia.
Zayn announced the song, called “Dusk Till Dawn,” on Friday, tweeting teaser art for the song. The artwork looks like a poster for an action movie and presumably hints at what can we expect from the video. It also reveals the video’s female lead: Jemima Kirke, best known for playing Jessa on Girls. Her dad, by the way, is Simon Kirke, drummer for the legendary British rock band Bad Company.
The song, due September 7, will be the follow up to Zayn’s single “Still Got Time,” which featured PartyNextDoor. There’s still no word on when the former One Direction member’s sophomore solo album will be released.
The night of the VMAs, Zayn tweeted a brief video of himself in a suit, sitting at a desk and opening up a briefcase. It looked like a scene from a movie, so perhaps it’s a clip from the new video.
