ABC/Fred LeeLady Gaga was Born this Way, and now she’s #BornToDare, in an ad campaign for Tudor-brand Swiss watches.
Gaga is the first female face of the watch brand, and is pictured on the company’s website and in its ads, sporting the brand’s 41 mm steel automatic watch, Black Bay Red. It’ll set you back $3,350.
“Lady Gaga is a global, leading fashion icon, mindful of everything she wears,” says Tudor on its website. “She has turned celebrity into a comprehensive art form. She knows full well that an outfit is a powerful message, an art performance. Every accessory is a way to shape her image, a means to an end. Lady Gaga wears the Black Bay…Versatile, timeless and authentic.”
The company’s website also touts not just Gaga’s commercial success, but her philanthropy.
“Her message takes many shapes and forms, among which music is the main but not the sole medium,” the website reads. “Lady Gaga stands out in the way she dresses, but also with her charity agenda and non-profit work.”
David Beckham is also one of Tudor’s ambassadors.
