Tell Maroon 5 “What Lovers Do,” hear a snippet of their new song

222/InterscopeWhat do lovers do? That’s what Maroon 5 wants to know.

The band is releasing their brand new single “What Lovers Do” — featuring hot female R&B star-of-the-moment SZA — on Wednesday.  But you can hear a brief snippet now, if you go to the band’s website and fill in the blank in this sentence: “BLANK is what lovers do.” 

That unlocks a 12-second clip of the upbeat tune, in which Adam Levine sings, “Tell me tell me if you love me or not, love me or not.”

You can share your response with the hashtag “#WhatLoversDo,” and the band will post its favorites.

“What Lovers Do” will presumably appear on Maroon 5’s new album, the follow-up to 2014’s V.  The band also released a standalone single, “Don’t Wanna Know,” last year, and another song, “Cold,” back in February.
