Dennis LeupoldSorry, not sorry, rain — you couldn’t stop Demi Lovato fans from turning out to see their girl perform live in New York City’s Central Park Friday.
Despite the fact that it was raining buckets, Lovatics donned ponchos and hoisted umbrellas to attend Demi’s show, which was part of ABC’s Good Morning America Summer Concert Series. The drenched fans sang along with every word.
After the performance, Demi told ABC Radio how it felt to see everyone having fun despite the horrible weather.
“It’s amazing and I mean, that’s dedication,” she said. “My fans are super-passionate, and…when I heard it was raining, I was like, ‘Ohmigosh they’re standing outside!’ and, ‘I hope..there’s not lightning!'”
Demi performed her new single “Sorry Not Sorry,” as well as “No Promises,” her multi-platinum hit with Cheat Codes, and “Instruction,” her collaboration with Jax Jones.
