Denise TruscelloBritney Spears is donating a piece of her Las Vegas show to help schoolkids in her home state.
Through December 31, Britney’s donating $1 from every ticket sold to her show Britney: Piece of Me to public schools in Louisiana via the Louisiana School Boards Association. As of this month, she’s already raised $65,000 for the cause.
Britney, who hails from Kentwood, Louisiana, says in a statement, “I am so proud to be able to give back to my home state and help the Louisiana School Boards Association. I can’t wait to see all my amazing fans when I return to Vegas for my last run of shows this year!”
Brit comes back to The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for performances starting September 3 and running through December 31. That New Year’s Eve show will be the final performance of Piece of Me.
