David LaChapelleKaty Perry will do double duty at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards: in addition to hosting, she’ll also perform. Now we know who’ll be taking the stage with her.
MTV has announced that the performer lineup for the show will include Katy, as well as Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, Lorde, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes.
As previously reported, Kendrick Lamar is the most nominated artist this year, receiving eight nods for his video for “HUMBLE.” Katy and The Weeknd are in second place with five nods each.
This year’s VMAs will air Sunday, August 27, at 8 p.m. ET.
