Watch now: Ed Sheeran goes to Ghana in joyful “Bibia Be Ye Ye” video

Greg WilliamsEd Sheeran has released a joyful new video for his song, “Bibia Be Ye Ye.”

The video is a love letter to the African country of Ghana. It includes shots of smiling and dancing locals, and colorful street scenes, and ends with a shot of Ed standing in front of the ocean.

“Since it’s summer I wanted to put out a video for Bibia Be Ye Ye that was made by a fantastic director called [Gyo Gyimah] and all filmed in Ghana,” Ed writes on his Instagram page.

He adds, “I visited Ghana last year to make music with [Fuse ODG] and [Killbeatz Addision], and whilst there was exposed to such wonderful culture, food, music and scenery. Me and Fuse wanted to showcase all of these things in a music video to show off the beauty of it.”

Ed says he isn’t releasing the song as a single, but he wanted to put of “feel good video” for people to enjoy this summer.

He concludes, “And make sure you visit Ghana, it’s incredible.”
