ABC/Randy HolmesFresh off becoming a first-time dad, Andy Grammer has released an acoustic performance of his new single “Give Love.”
Billboard premiered the video, which features Andy singing a live, stripped down version of the song at Cherry Studios in Los Angeles. He strums his guitar and is backed only by drums and a cello.
“I think people need a song like this when it’s done right, and sometimes it’s hard to capture it in a way that we can all rock out to,” Andy tells Billboard. “Writing a positive, uplifting song about giving love is tough to get right, and I feel like we did get it right.”
Andy’s new album, the follow-up to 2014’s Magazines or Novels, is due out later this fall.
