AEG PresentsKaty Perry has teamed up with Global Citizen to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of America — and she wants your help.
According to Variety, the singer will be visiting select Boys & Girls Club locations and giving fans the chance to win free tickets to her upcoming Witness tour if they help support the cause.
“I’m a firm believer that actions speak louder than Tweets,” Katy says in a statement, adding, “I think we’re all looking for a way to make real change beyond just donating our loose change.”
For the opportunity to score general admission tickets, fans can donate money or supplies to a local Boys & Girls Club and tweet about the action. In order to win a pair of VIP tickets and a meet-and-greet with Katy, fans must volunteer at a local Boys & Girls Club.
Katy’s Witness tour kicks off September 7 in Columbus, Ohio. She’s also donating one dollar of every ticket purchased to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
