Photo by Tommaso Boddi/Getty Images for WEReady to get in on the WE Day festivities? The U.S. national broadcast of WE Day, hosted by Selena Gomez, will air August 4 on CBS.
This is Selena’s third year participating in the event. She previously hosted the first-ever WE Day national broadcast in 2015. She says in a statement, “I am grateful to be a part of such a supportive community and hope I can inspire the kids at WE Day just as they continue to inspire me.“
The one-hour broadcast will also feature appearances by Alessia Cara, Alicia Leys, DJ Khaled and Demi Lovato. The special includes performances, speeches, comedic skits and real-life footage of young people who are making a difference in their communities.
WE Day is part of WE, a global organization that enables youth and families to help make the world a better place.
