Ariana releases live version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”; fans call to make her honorary Manchester citizen

A spokesperson for Spotify told E! Online in a statement, “Spotify is making an additional, sizeable donation on behalf of our users to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund in aid of the British Red Cross.”  The 39-song album is also available on Tidal and Apple Music, according to E!.

Meanwhile, more than 16,000 fans have signed a petition saying that Ariana should be given the “Freedom of Manchester” honor, which would essentially make her an honorary citizen of the city.  Her One Love Manchester concert raised nearly $3.5 million.

The organizer of the petition writes, “Ariana Grande has inspired people up and down the country with her selfless acts of kindness. She didn’t need to return to Manchester (after all she was a victim herself) but…she did and brought the nation to tears and for that I feel she should be granted Freedom of the City of Manchester.”
