Sasha SamsonovaLast year, Fifth Harmony went from five members to four members with the departure of Camila Cabello. But as member Ally Brooke Hernandez tells People Chica, there are no plans for the group to add another member to keep the “fifth” in Fifth Harmony.
“Oh no!” she laughs. “We’re sticking with the four!”
The group currently is working on its third album, and Ally says, “Our music is coming together magically. It’s a blend of these delicate and honest pop melodies mixed with fun, rhythmic, sexy, urban sounds, as well soulful, raw emotion.”
She adds, “There’s so much to look forward to in our music.”
One reason why this third album is special, says Ally, is because the group members have been “given the opportunity to write and be part of the process more than ever.” As a result, she says, they’re pouring their “heart and soul” into the project.
“I smile just thinking about it,” she tells People Chica. “There is lots in store and we are all patiently waiting for our music to finally be out!”
While Harmonizers wait, they can watch Normani Kordei tear up the ballroom Monday night on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
