Selena Gomez and Kygo's “It Ain't Me” video explores the power of music

Interscope Records / Ultra RecordsThe video for Selena Gomez and Kygo’s collab, “It Ain’t Me,” has arrived. Fair warning — it’s a bit of a downer, but it has a hopeful ending.

The clip features a couple who get into a motorcycle accident, leaving the male driver in a coma. The girl stays by his side for days as he lays in a hospital bed. In the meantime, we see what’s going on in his head while he’s in a dreamlike state.

At one point, the girl puts on headphones and dances around the hospital room, then puts the headphones on her partner. The music eventually helps bring him out of his coma, and the video ends with him finally opening his eyes.

“It Ain’t Me” was released back in in February and has climbed up the charts. Hot on its heels, Kygo will be releasing a new song with Ellie Goulding Friday, called “First Time.”

Kygo’s sophomore album is expected to be released later this year.
