Harley WeirHarry Styles will be gracing your late night TV screens with a week-long residency on The Late Late Show with James Corden next month.
Following the release of his debut solo album, the singer will perform a new song each night starting Monday, May 15 and going through Thursday, May 18. He’ll also join fellow Brit Corden for various Late Late Show segments.
Harry’s self-titled debut album, featuring his first single “Sign of the Times,” will be released May 12.
While promoting the album on BBC Radio 1’s Breakfast Show this week, Harry received some insightful questions from Ed Sheeran. Ed, who has written songs for One Direction in the past, asked Harry in a recorded message: “What was the process of this album? How many songs did you write, where did you make it and how long have you been making it for and did you enjoy making it?”
Harry said he worked on the album for three weeks before taking a break for five months to film the movie Dunkirk. He then returned to the studio in July and continuing working on songs until the end of the year. He said he wrote about 30 full songs during that time and then whittled it down.
