Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei Has Big Night on “Dancing with the Stars”

ABC/Craig SjodinEven with jetting back and forth between Southeast Asia with Fifth Harmony, Normani Kordei didn’t let jet lag stop her from beating the house during Vegas Night on Monday’s Dancing with the Stars. The 20-year-old sensation is fast becoming a season 24 standout with her dazzling performances.

Decked out in a red sequin dress with a plunging neckline and matching heels, Normani brought glitz and glam to the dance floor with a show-stopping performance that won her the high score of the night.

She and her dance partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, wowed the judges with  their foxtrot to “Big Spender” by Shirley Bassey.

Judge Bruno Tonioli called the performance, “big splendor,” adding, “You two broke the bank in Vegas and walked with the prize! That was fabulous! The best dance tonight in my eyes.”

Tonioli awarded Normani his first 9 of the season. Juilanne Hough gave her a 9 as well, while Carrie Ann Inaba and Len Goodman each awarded her an 8 for a combined total of 34 out of 40.

Kordei is headed to the Philippines for another concert before returning to the dance floor.

Dancing with the Stars returns next Monday on ABC.
