Jiving and jet lag: Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei competing on “DWTS” during Asian tour

ABC/Craig SjodinOn Saturday, Fifth Harmony performed in Taiwan, but there’s no rest for Normani Kordei: she had to fly back to L.A. to perform live tonight on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.  And when she’s done dancing, she has to fly all the way to the Philippines for a show on Wednesday.  How does she do it?  By being able to sleep anytime, anywhere.

“I can knock out anywhere…on a train, on a plane,” she tells ABC News. “On a roller coaster…nah, I’m just kidding!”

But Normani isn’t kidding when it come to the competition: her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy travels with her and they practice wherever and whenever they can.

“We actually find rehearsal spaces in whatever city that we’re in and we kinda just do it. We really don’t have any choice,” she tells ABC News. “Anywhere I go, he goes too. So what I feel, he has to feel too!”

Tonight, it’s Las Vegas night on Dancing with the Stars, and Normani and Val will dance the foxtrot to the classic song “Hey Big Spender” by Shirley Bassey.  It all goes down starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
