ABC/Randy HolmesHaving already performed on seemingly every single U.S. TV show, Andy Grammer is now setting his sights on Australia.
Andy wrote on his Facebook page that he’ll be singing on The Logie Awards, which he describes as “like the Emmys but everyone is better looking with accents and is from Australia.”
The Logies, as they are called, are indeed the Australian equivalent of the Emmys. They’re named after John Logie Baird, an inventor who, back in 1926, demonstrated the first working television system.
The Logies will be handed out April 23. As for what Andy will perform, he added the hashtag #fresheyesworldwide to his posting, so we assume it’ll be his current single “Fresh Eyes.”
While Andy may not want to leave his pregnant wife while he heads Down Under, he’ll be back in plenty of time to welcome their baby girl this summer.
