Sam KolderThe Chainsmokers have shared a new track from their upcoming debut album Memories…Do Not Open.
The song, “The One,” is a ballad about a relationship that’s about to end, but neither party wants to be the one to actually call it quits. The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart sings lead on the track.
The album, due April 7, features collaborations with Coldplay, country duo Florida Georgia Line, Jhene Aiko and Emily Warren. If you pre-order the album, you’ll get instant downloads of “The One,” as well as the Coldplay collabo “Something Just Like This” and the hit “Paris.”
The Chainsmokers will perform on Saturday Night Live on April 8.
