Sia nabs three nominations for APRA Music Awards

ABC/ Paula LoboSia scored three nominations for this year’s APRA Music Awards, which honor Australian songwriters and music publishers.

She’s up for Most Played Australian Work for “Cheap Thrills,” and Pop Work of the Year for “Alive” and “Cheap Thrills.” Sia is already an APRA Awards record-setter after winning the Songwriter of the Year award on three consecutive occasions.

Meanwhile, Australian producer/DJ Flume leads the nominations this year with four total, and Troye Sivan received two nods. In the International Work of the Year category, nominees include Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” Adele’s “Hello,” and Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself” and “Sorry.”

The 2017 APRA Music Awards will be held on Monday, April 3 in Sydney.
