Gwen Stefani’s animated Harajuku series coming to DVD

NickelodeonIf you missed Gwen Stefani’s Nickelodeon animated series when it first aired, it’ll soon be coming to DVD.

Kuu Kuu Harajuku: Music, Baby!, featuring 14 episodes from season one of the shows, is being released on DVD June 13. The series follows the stylish girl band HJ5 — Love, Angel, Music, Baby and G — through their cute adventures in music and fashion.

Initial shipments of the DVD will contain a code to download the Kuu Kuu Harajuku theme song. The DVDs are now available for pre-order at Amazon.com and ShoutFactory.com.

Gwen is the co-creator and executive producer of the show. It was inspired by her love of the Japanese Harajuku style.
