Pitbull and Camila Cabello pay homage to Cuban roots with new collab, “Hey Ma”

Atlantic RecordsPitbull and Camila Cabello are getting back to their Latin roots with their new song off The Fate of the Furious soundtrack, “Hey Ma.”

The video for the Spanish version of the tune, also featuring Colombian singer J Balvin, debuted today. It was filmed on the colorful streets of Miami and intercut with scenes from the movie, which was filmed on location in Cuba. Both Pitbull and Camila are Cuban and grew up in Miami.

“Working with Pitbull and J Balvin was a huge honor,” Camila says in a statement. “I’m so excited to be a part of this incredible franchise, especially with it being filmed in my original home of Cuba.”

The Fate of the Furious is the latest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise, starring Vin Diesel. The soundtrack and the film will premiere on April 14, along with an English version of “Hey Ma” and an accompanying video.
