Report: Britney Spears' new Las Vegas residency suffering from lagging sales

It looks like “…One More Time” was one too many for Britney Spears‘ Las Vegas residency.

After a successful four-year run at Planet Hollywood, tickets for the first month of her Britney: Domination concert series — kicking off in February at the Park MGM in Las Vegas — are less than half sold, sources tell The New York Post.

That’s in sharp contrast to other upcoming events, including Lady Gaga‘s Enigma show at the same venue.  It starts in December, and nearly sold out the first the first week tickets were available. Aerosmith‘s Deuces Are Wild series, starting in April at the Park MGM, is about 85 percent sold out, sources tell the newspaper.

Spears’ Piece of Me residency, which debuted at Planet Hollywood in 2013, and wrapped up in December, grossed $138 million.

Britney: Domination kicks off Valentine’s Day weekend, on February 13 and 14, and will run for 32 performances in 2019.

Meanwhile, Britney appears to be teasing something — possibly new music.  On her socials, she wrote, “You think you know me? Think again.”
