Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa featured on new album by opera star Andrea Bocelli

Verve Label Group/Universal Music ClassicsLast year, Ed Sheeran teamed up with opera legend Andrea Bocelli for a remix of his song, “Perfect,” called “Perfect Symphony.”  Now Ed’s returned the favor by co-writing a song for Bocelli’s new album and singing on it with him.

Bocelli’s new album, Si, is due October 26 and is his first album of new material in 14 years.  Ed wrote the music for and sings on one of the songs, “Amo Soltanto Te,” [AH-moh sohl-TAHN-toh tay] which means “I Only Love You” in Italian.

In addition, Dua Lipa sings with Bocelli on the song “If Only,” which was co-written by the same team who created Bocelli’s signature hit, “Time To Say Goodbye.”

Josh Groban joins Bocelli on the song “We Will Meet Once Again.”  The same track appears on Josh’s new album, Bridges, due out Friday.

Si also features Bocelli singing with his 20-year-old son Matteo on “Fall On Me,” from the upcoming Disney film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. The single is coming out Friday in seven different languages.  Andrea’s other son, Amos, plays piano on two album tracks as well.

Bocelli celebrates his 60th birthday this Saturday.
