Mert & MarcusTaylor Swift is fulfilling her cat lady dreams.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the singer will be starring in a new movie adaption of the musical Cats, along with Jennifer Hudson, James Corden, and Ian McKellen.
The film, based on the hit Andrew Lloyd Webber stage production, will be directed by Tom Hooper. It follows a tribe of cats called Jellicles, who hope to be chosen to be reborn into a new life.
Production on the film is set to take place later this year in the U.K. Additional cast members are expected to be announced soon.
Taylor’s beloved cats Meredith and Olivia should be proud.
