Ed Sheeran announces Snow Patrol, Anne-Marie and Lauv joining him on tour

Greg WilliamsEd Sheeran has picked the supporting acts for his upcoming North American stadium tour.

The trek, which kicks off in August, will feature special guests Snow Patrol on all dates, Anne-Marie from August through September, and Lauv from October through November.

Anne-Marie and Lauv have both joined Ed on tour before, with Anne-Marie supporting him on the European leg of his Divide tour last year and Lauv joining him for the tour’s Asian leg. Anne-Marie and Ed also collaborated on her new single, “2002.”

It only makes sense that Snow Patrol would join the tour as well. Ed has long been pals with the band. Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid co-wrote Ed’s hit “Shape of You,” among others.

The North American Divide tour starts August 18 in Pasadena, California and wraps November 10 in Atlanta, Georgia.
