Lance Bass talks *NSYNC pop-up shop: “We knew we wanted to make this weekend special”

JB Lacroix/WireImageLance Bass is ready to do something special for fans this weekend with the Hollywood opening of *NSYNC‘s “Dirty Pop-Up” shop.

He tells Billboard’s Pop Shop Podcast that it’s the perfect way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s debut album and their Walk of Fame ceremony, set to take place Monday.

“I mean, we would not be anything without [the fans] and, you know, we have not made an album since 2002 and our fans have stuck with us this whole entire time and supporting each of us individually in all that we do,” Lance says.

He adds, “We knew we wanted to make this weekend special because tons of fans will be flying in from all over the world and we wanted to make sure they have a good time. So we wanted to give them a lot of things to do and just pretend you’re a teenager again.”

The shop will be the first place you can buy the group’s new official merchandise capsule collection, but it’ll also display props, wardrobe, artwork and photography from the boy band’s 20-year career. Lance also hints that he and his former band mates will be popping in for surprise visits.

The shop will be open the following days:

Saturday, April 28 — noon to 8pm
Sunday, April 29 — noon to 8pm
Monday, April 30 — 4pm to 9pm
Tuesday, May 1 — noon to 8pm
