Fall Out Boy announces U.S. tour dates, including homecoming show at Wrigley Field Rock

ABC/Randy HolmesFall Out Boy is bringing their M A N I A to a city near you.

On Friday, their album release day, the band announced their U.S. tour featuring special guest Machine Gun Kelly. They’ll hit the road beginning August 29 in Uniondale, New York and wrap on October 10 in New Orleans.  Friday morning, the band gave fans a preview with a performance of “HOLD ME TIGHT OR DON’T” on ABC’s Good Morning America.

In between, as previously reported, they’ll play a milestone homecoming show at Wrigley Field in Chicago on September 8.

“I grew up going to games with my dad at Wrigley,” bassist Pete Wentz says in a statement. “This stadium contains so much magic from being a kid…. I can’t think of somewhere closer to me to come home and play a show at in Chicago.”

Tickets for the tour go on sale to the general public starting Friday, January 26 at 10 a.m. local time. One dollar from every ticket sold will for to the Fall Out Boy fund, which benefits charities throughout Chicago.
