Interscope RecordsYesterday, Gwen Stefani announced her first holiday album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, and today the first single arrived. It’s the album’s title track, and it’s a duet featuring Gwen’s boyfriend, Blake Shelton.
The upbeat, happy holiday song features the two lovebirds singing about how their romance is like “a present sent from God.” “Thought I was done for, thought that love had died,” Blake sings. “But you came along, I swear you saved my life.” Gwen sings, “I never thought that I’d find love like this/but I found forever in that very first kiss.”
Blake and his ex, country superstar Miranda Lambert, divorced in 2015. Gwen and husband Gavin Rossdale, frontman of the rock band Bush and father of her three sons, split around the same time.
“You Make It Feel Like Christmas” is available to stream or download now. You can also check out an audio-only version on YouTube. The album comes out October 6 and an exclusive deluxe edition available at Target will feature a hardcover book with 24 pages of photos, including Gwen’s personal holiday pics.
